IMPACTO NEWS - APRIL 2026

April 30, 2026 by impacto

As we wrap up the fourth month of the year, we are filled with gratitude and praise. We feel God guiding us through a season of change and growth.

Currently we are diligently preparing for the busiest time of our year – the summer months. As this season draws near, we are filled with anticipation, excitement, and expectations, alongside a great deal of planning and preparation. We ask you to join us in praying for everyone who will join us in ministry this summer. Please pray that God will touch their hearts and that they will grow closer to Him during their time here. Also, pray for all those who will be ministered to through these teams. Sometimes, after ongoing ministry, a fresh perspective from visiting teams will help someone finally make the decision to accept Jesus as their Savior and follow Him.

Bible Conference

One of our major upcoming ministry events is the Bible Conference. It is so important to minister to those who spend the entire year ministering to others. Many who attend are pastors, others are lay-workers, pastor’s wives, small group leaders, and some who just want to learn more. We know that most who join us for the Bible Conference arrive feeling tired and weary. We have 3 days to share, pray, love, and encourage them to continue fighting the good fight.

As previously mentioned, we request an offering of about $25 per individual or $42 per married couple. We understand that covering fees for two people in one household can be challenging, so we aim to ease that burden. Many attendees cannot afford the full fee, but we encourage them to contribute whatever they can, even if it is just $1 or $5. In reality, our cost per participant is close to $200, which includes meals, lodging, advertising, materials, electricity, and other expenses.

We ask you to help us raise funds for this ministry and help us serve those who serve other and you can do so through our website under Pastoral Training.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
“Honor your father and mother” – which is the first commandment with a promise –
“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on earth.”

Mother’s Day Reflections

Mother’s Day is just around the corner. This got me thinking about unique things we find in the Bible, including God’s commandments. One commandment stands out as the first to come with a promise. This is found in Ephesians 6:1-3.

The promise of keeping this commandment is, “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” (v.3).

On the cross of Calvary, Jesus gave us a powerful example of honoring His mother. In John 19:26-27, Jesus asks John to care for His mother. Even in the final minutes of His life, He honored His mother.

I encourage you to reflect – no matter who your mother was or is, no matter if she was or is a good person. The Bible simply asks us to honor our father and mother, and this promise will be fulfilled in our lives.

Blessings and Happy Mother’s Day!

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
