EVERY EFFORT COUNTS

Without prayers and donations, Impacto couldn’t function. Our supporters provide the means to carry out the ministries to which God has called us. Donations and prayers are an encouragement and help us better grow in areas where we feel God leading.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Sharing our prayer requests with you is important. Knowing we have brothers and sisters in Christ, near and far, lifting Impacto up in prayer is a huge encouragement. We need a big team of prayer warriors in order to make a big impact here in Guatemala.

  • For all of our Happy Tummies children, Abuelitos, and their families -- for their health, their finances, and most importantly, their relationships with Christ.

  • Funds to continue our construction project at “Xejuyu” (Shae-hoo-you).

  • Protection from the schemes of the enemy. We know any time someone works for the Lord and shares His Word, the evil one is not happy.

  • Continual provision of monthly commitments of US$35 for our Happy Tummies and Abuelitos ministries.

  • Physical, spiritual, and emotional strength for the Impacto Staff.

  • That Impacto may be used to effectively share the love of Christ to the people of Guatemala and further His Kingdom.

NEEDS & SUPPLIES

Compassion Ministry


HEALING HANDS (Includes the Pharmacy)

Many people come to us for medicine that they cannot afford. Medical teams leave meds not used during their week of holding clinics. These meds are given to those who come in need and if we don't have the med needed, we purchase it in Jesus' name.

HAPPY TUMMIES & ABUELITOS

An after-school program for children in vulnerable situations. It provides a nutritious meal, teaches personal hygiene, has monthly doctor visit check-ups, provide licensed tutors, and most of all, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

STITCHES OF BLESSINGS

A ministry to teach sewing to around 15-20 students yearly to have an income for their families. Students must complete all projects to graduate and be gifted with the machine they have used all year. Each session also includes a Bible Study and prayer.

VBS

VBS is held year-round in the lake area and can be in Happy Tummies or churches. Zacapa VBS week in November is a week-long event. VBS training empowers and equips leaders plus encouraging them through new ideas and teaching strategies.

LIBRARY (Books & Resources in Spanish)

Our library and San Juan Happy Tummies building share the same site. Books and computers are in the library. Happy Tummies students use to complete homework; there is a computer class on Saturdays. The books are a joy for our students of all ages to read.

XEJUYU

Impacto houses teams, conference attendees, holds training events, youth camps, and many other activities at the Promised Land.

ZONA CERO

Our yearly Youth Camp. We serve around 200 teens who come, bringing a friend, for intensive Bible study, prayer, singing, worship, and fellowship. We've seen many lives turned around and come into the Kingdom.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Construction projects vary. Our main emphasis this year is to complete the new abuelitos building and a retaining wall around our garden plot.
