It is hard to believe that hosting summer teams has already come to an end for this year. What a wonderful season it has been! We are deeply grateful for every person who led or joined a team, helped fund the work, prayed faithfully, and supported our staff along the way. The days were certainly long and tiring, but the fruit of this season made every effort worthwhile.

We rejoice that at least 250 people came to Christ. Many others confessed sin and committed to returning to God’s path, while still more heard the Word and expressed a desire to learn more. Our medical clinics cared for 1,293 patients, many children were reminded that they are loved and cherished, and thousands of people were lifted up in prayer.

We believe God was honored and glorified throughout this season. Our prayer is that we will remain humble, grateful, and faithful to give all the glory to Him.

What Do You Want Me to Do?

This reflection is drawn from the book of Acts. To keep it brief, I will not include every passage, but I invite you to read Paul’s testimony there for yourself.

In Acts, Paul shares his testimony three times with three different audiences. Before encountering Jesus, Paul was traveling to Damascus to persecute Christians, carrying official letters that gave him authority to imprison them. On the road, a brilliant light surrounded him and he heard a voice ask, “Why do you persecute me?” Paul replied, “Who are you, Lord?” The voice answered, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” Paul then asked a life-changing question: “What do you want me to do?”

Today, I encourage you to bring that same question to God in prayer: “What do You want me to do?” For Paul, the answer was to go to the Gentiles and help bring them from darkness into light. May each of us listen with an open heart, trust God’s direction, and have the courage to follow wherever He leads.
