And so, we bid farwell to the shortest month of the year. What a wonderful month February has been! We have had the pleasure of serving alongside 4 teams this month. Each team came in the name of Jesus, ministering to many, sharing the Gospel, planting seeds and seeing fruit. God has been merciful in allowing us to see many coming to Him this month. It is always so special when we see both locals and those within the teams making a life-long commitment to follow Christ. What a blessing!
God is the Essence of Love
As we are ending February, where we celebrated a day of love, I want to share this thought with you.
In 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 we find the one and true description of what love is. This corner is not enough to say everything I want to say, but here are verses 4-13.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices
with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge,
it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child,
I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became
a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
There is something we cannot do if we don’t have love. Forgive. However, it is so hard to forgive if you do not have true love. And the only true love there is comes from God. When man is born we are not born with love. We are born with emotions. If you want to know true love you need to know God.
1 John 4:8 says, Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
I encourage you to know God so you can know true love and what that love can do in us. This true love allows us to do things that we could not out of our own will. God is the essence of love; He doesn’t have love He is love.

Pastor to Pastors
In the last few years Pastor Luis has been praying and seeking for a pastor to pastors. As you know throughout the year we try care for those who serve. We want to make sure our pastors are being ministered to as they go out and minister to others. Consequently , Pastor Luis decided to take on that position this month and has become our pastor to pastors. Who better than someone who has walked the walk to now lead, listen, guide, comfort, and minister to those coming behind him. We are excited to be able to support and assist him as he supports others. Please remember, if you’re bringing a team this year and would like to spend a day or two ministering to our pastors just let us know when planning your trip.
