Time has a funny way of moving—some days the hours seem to stretch on forever, while others pass in the blink of an eye. That is exactly how July felt: somehow both a single day and an entire year all at once. So much has happened, and while there are still things we did not get to, it is worth pausing to appreciate how God has moved and blessed so many this month.
July gave us many reasons to celebrate as we saw God do wonderful things. In partnership with Riverview Baptist Church and many generous supporters, we hosted our Annual Bible Conference with 180 attendees. Participants left feeling heard, seen, loved, and encouraged, with a deeper knowledge of the Bible. It is both humbling and joyful to serve those who serve, even for just four days.
“For Ezra had devoted himself to the study…” — Ezra 7:10
National Bible Day gives us a special opportunity to celebrate the gift of Scripture and renew our commitment to living by its truth. Next month in Guatemala, we will be celebrating National Bible Day. We applaud and rejoice as we share the great news that this has officially become an authorized Government holiday!
This celebration reminds us of the Bible’s great importance. In Ezra 7:10, a man inspired by the Spirit wrote,
“For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.”
Although National Bible Day is officially observed next month, as children of God, we should celebrate the gift of Scripture every day. I encourage you to: study the Word, obey the Word, and share the Word with others.
Many blessings,
Pastor Luis

Matthew 9:36 “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”
